I've been reading
The Wealth of Nations lately, as well as listening to some podcasts on The Theory of Moral Sentiments. Now, the latter most interests me for its Humean influence. Overall I'm interested in Adam Smith, the economist. What do you guys think of him? Anyone interesting to read? So far I've read Bohm-Bawerk, Rothbard, Roger Garrison, Spencer Pack and Gavin Kennedy. I tend to think that Rothbard variously misunderstood Smith, though Smith's theories are often fuzzy and dubious (higher wages cause increased productivity; wealthy households have bad management therefor slavery is more expensive than wages?).
Do you guys have any particular opinions on his economics views, or know of a good resource on him?
