That these people have just been found bodes well for an off-the-grid "Galt's Gulch," should we ever put one together, but it is fascinating to me that here in 2008, and the age of Global Satellite coverage where our government can read your license plate from 30 miles up, they have never been seen or contacted before. The Amazon is still quite a frontier, despite the rapid deforestation occurring at the margins.
