Rush Limbaugh seems to think that Obama is deliberately trying to destroy the private sector. I find myself suspecting the same thing. Is Obama a raging closet Marxist (or something similar), or is he just profoundly ignorant about economics? For example, does he really think that unionizing FedEx will help the economy somehow, or is he deliberately trying to raise costs and lower efficiency in order to exacerbate/speed up the economic decline/collapse? What IS the deal? Any opinions?

On Monday, a new law/bureaucracy went into effect by which Canadians can place themselves on a gov't "do not call list". I believe California (or the U.S. as a whole) has something similar.

The idea is to stop telemarketers from bothering people. Naturally, the gov't exempts itself from the restriction.

I need a good argument against it; if one exists. How would the market placate people in this regard when the market seems to be the culprit.
