Alas all pipers are paid.

This is a minority report, one you will not often find presented anywhere as it has been ruthlessly suppressed; one of the few exceptions is perhaps, in a veiled way, Peter Singer's Animal Liberation. This is my interpretation of the position of minor attracted adults and the society which oppresses them.

In language the point is to both communicate well and efficiently. I mean I could er well, perhaps I could tell you an example....

(not x in one line) Quicker than establishing x. Hence appropriate provided the audience doesn't need the elaboration of the full sylogism.

Any thoughts on this or when ...

One evening an old Cherokee man told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

One is Evil.... It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good.... It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth and compassion."

I won't summarize the article, but rather put put some quotes out there that I either take issue with or think are useful (thanks to Google Notebook for keepin' my quotes).

Part of the intro might sound a little familiar...

My brother is going to die of starvation and/or dehydration. It is a cruel fate, devoid of dignity. Why can't we, his family members, say goodbye, make our peace and then call in the medical professionals to administer a fatal dose of narcotics or sedatives? Why must we wait and watch as his body fights against the effects of starvation and lack of fluids? It is an awful, horrid fate, and a sad state of affairs in a so-called civilized nation. Are religious people so disgusting, so evil, so fucking ...

this insight is still very uncertain. It concerns the ideas of on the one hand 'forgiveness' (like Jesus claimed to be big at) and the like and on the other 'judgement', 'blame' (what Stef in way is big at) and so on. The idea is that both of these sides are wrong in some sense and that there is an alternative. Both of these extremes center around the idea of 'responsibility' in the sense that they both acknowledge its existence but have different practical/moral perspectives on it: the former ...
