After three years, and in consultation with a variety of incompetent boobs, I have decided to close down the topic of defoomanism. I have no respect left at all for this position, and I don't want to waste any more server or personal resources on it.

Although bans seem to be successful on another site, forbidding mention of a topic here would be more likely to increase the number of posts!

Of course, such a ban would never work here even if it were serious. People posting on this site can think for themselves and won't be told what they can or can't post about.
