I assumed that's what you meant. And I don't disagree that thread-jacking is a common occurrence (by me, I'm sure). However I stand by what I said: the thread-jacking is worse, in my eyes anyway, than your minor blasphemy. |

| Sounds like Stef, especially "loves to win awards" - he's rigging the votes for that right now. |

If I know that a certain name being used in such a way offended you because that name was something precious to you I would do my best not to use it. Strange how we don't use 'Muhammed' in that way eh?! |
It's insulting that you did not say "Peace be upon him" after you wrote the name of the Prophet. In this thread you also failed to capitalize "he" when referring to the Deity, which is insulting given how important He is to some people. And I hope you refer to the Deity as G-d, since some people consider it profane to write the name of the Deity.
Of course, a Muslim telling a Christian to respect the tradition of not writing the name of the Prophet without writing PBUH, or a Jew telling a Christian to respect the tradition of not writing the full name of the Deity, would be absurd. Perhaps as absurd as asking an atheist/agnostic to respect the tradition of not using the name of the Deities as an exclamation? |

| I think it's great that even though he just quit his job, the poster has donated enough to be a silver donator. And his reason for quitting? The violence inherent in academia, a classic Molyneux nonsense talking point. |
