I like cats that infuriate their FDR owners. |

| But my cats were nice... why does that sound so familiar somehow? |

| I wonder if Stef and Christina have cats or do you think they have virtual pets? |

They absolutely have virtual pets. The are called FDR members, and their behavior is controlled be real people on other computers. |

And they perform horrible psychological experiments on their pets. _________________ I philosophize, therefore I evangelize

| Re: Nathan's cats I suspect that entire call-in show was an attempt to present Stefan's interactions with members to curious Guardian readers as little more than a harmless "Dear Abby" kind of thing, in keeping with the "it's just a website" theme. |

| Yes, I know it was staged, that's why it is fun to make fun of Nathan and his cats. I suspect that was the most scripted call in show he's ever done. Early on, he used to have skeptics and others call in and debate him. That never occurs now, and it is probably only open to his loyal listeners. This one was planned from the beginning to be extra-innocuous so any curious Guardian readers would be bored witless and wonder what all the fuss was about. Yet, one need only peruse the titles on iTunes to find the truly inflammatory stuff, as well as the specific podcast where Tom is interviewed. Seems a rather transparent and pathetic attempt, really. _________________ Please check out my blog! Dylboznia |

| Sorry to interrupt, is it true Stef is going to be interviewed by British radio about the Guardian article about Tom. |

Yeah, I just posted a link to the FDR thread about it in another thread on here. _________________ I philosophize, therefore I evangelize

I remember him owning three cats, was this just a joke or does he actually believe this? |
