I would find a better source than Sam Vaknin. He got caught in a pump and dump scheme and claims he was diagnosed as having NPD in prison. His "qualifications", supposedly a PHD in "philosophical physics" was bought from the internet. I would not take anything he writes seriously.

Funny, between Moly and Vakninny, we have 2 pompous, "brilliant men" who both think they can write and are indeed prolific, who are both adept at internet self promotion, and they think they can give psychological advice.

Listening to either prattle about psychology on an obvious power trip is like hearing the colour blind try to describe red and then become self proclaimed authorities over what they think is the essence of redness.

OOPS! I'll try to be less lazy in the future. Let me add this then, from the credible Wikiepdia entry on "Grandiose Delusions":

Finally, I'd like to add that somebody snitched on my blog to him and he told me since I didn't post his comments with his permission, I should take it down. I asked him if he would use threat of legal action and he has yet to reply.

That's funny, given the regularity of him posting e-mails that he's received. I thought his policy was that anything sent to him was his to do with what he wishes.
