Not buying FDR shirts means you're afraid to spread the conversation. This is funny.

Are you serious? Does Stef really dedicate a podcast to insulting listeners for not buying his T-shirts? Is it just in the intro to the podcast, or the whole thing? Is he insulting them outright, passive-aggressively, or only hinting at it? Can you give me a good quote? This might be a level of insanity/inanity that I want to hear. Well, I doubt it: even thinking about Stef annoys me now - I don't even want to read anything by him any more.

Well the podcast was about how people should work harder at spreading FDR goodness to the world. But alot of it was directly criticizing and mocking people for not buying the shirts. "So once you got your personal life cleaned up, and you've gotten rid of the bad people in your life... work with vulnerability and so on. And people say, "Well what now?" As if you don't know! You know. You know what now! I'm just telling you directly. So that you can't hide from your knowledge of what's next, which you know. And the reason I know that you know is you're not buying T-shirts."

He really doesn't respect other people. You hear that in the way he talks to his listeners in this podcast, and you hear it in the way he refers to other people "ron paul lunatics", etc. Didn't he say in one of his videos that you need to love your audience? He wants other people to work on themselve, but has he stopped working on *him*self?

I'm only halfway through the podcast, but the nr. of contradictions ('I want to save the world' whereas he before said that FDR was not at all about that, but about personal happiness & 'buy the T-shirts to spread the word' vs. be very careful which people you introduce to FDR'), accusations and psychologisations (' I know, I know why you're not buying the T-shirts), acting (his laughter at times, completely phony), cultish (he is the leader of the organization and wantsa his followers to go out into the world, spreading the health FDR'ers have earned through the 'conversation' ('Physician heal Thyself' my g/f just said!)), is just amazing... I have preeicted the turning point for FDR a number of times before and I was wrong every single time, but this once again seems to be one, cuz FDR'ers now either have to give up their 'selves' to Stef or they have to do some serious soul-searching

also note how he now extends the 'enthusiasm'-theme that was already central in his conversation with James Pyrich. Looks like he sort of feels that he can use that tactic in more ways in order to play 'guilt-like-trips' on all FDR'ers. I do think that there is a certain element of projection going on as well: Stef himself is unsure what to do next, has had some rougher periods re FDR, and may not currently have the conviction that he thought he had and so he projects his own doubts about FDR onto the listeners and chastizes them for it. as a funny aside, how can Stef expect people to buy FDR books for others in their lives as gifts? I mean, following Stef they have exactly gotten rid of most of the people they might otherwise buy gifts for: family, friends, partners. it's a self-defeating strategy that way

some other psychologically fascinating items from 922--which should--and no doubt will--be used some day as a case study in denial, projection, hysteria....
SM: "If you try to make philosopy all about you--it won't work. It just won't work. It will make you irritable, touchy..." umhm!
SM on what other people become: "If you watch ninja movies and think you're a ninja, you're not: you're just "an insufferable know-it-all." yes, Stef?
Stef on his qualifications (have we yet heard enough from Stef on what makes him always right and always great?):
"I have x; I have y; I have done a and b; I am a to z .... Then.... and had ten years of therapy, Christina watching my back." (exact quote). Stef has *not* had ten years of therapy, unless he's counting light years worth of yammering away at his under-qualified, under-educated sycophant wife. Also, note: real therapy (or therapy that works) should free one from delusion, paranoia, etc. But in *one breath* Stef claims a decade of therapeutic intervention in his pathologies and conjoins: ", xtina watching my back."
Finally, Stef is amazingly knowledgable on cosmetics, feminine concerns. Let's say many men hear about these things from their wives/gfs. Who *remembers,* I ask you??? Examples: Stef paraphrases non-t-shirt buyers giving reasons such as they don't like the colours: "[The colours]don't make my eyes pop;" and, "they don't fit my 'season'. " (Women are divided into "seasons" re their colouring, skin tones and the garment matches that complement them.) So, how many of you guys *knew* all this, I ask you?!! |

I think Stef is still hung up on trying to save the world, which leads him to frustration. Esp when the people around him don't have the same complex. See my old video on this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XghOm-mM92Y

Decently attentive? Maybe. But I think that very trait may make me *not* a regular guy. Kidding!
