I pretty much agree with their assessment of your website. There is hardly any useful information on that site, and what little there is gets drowned out by all the crap.

Some of the pictures are funny, but all it really does is give the FDR members a scapegoat. "All of our detractor websites are like this..." LiMi does a much better job at debunking the FDR cult message than ANCAPS ever will.

wilhelpd, it doesn't matter whatever form the critic is in, people are not looking to question their cult when they read the critic, they are looking to find flaws in any way of the critic factual or imagined, doesn't matter...

The entire thread at FDR has been deleted, probably because it included a direct link to ANCAPS.


wilheldp: The molyneuxcultwatch thread is not designed for recruiting fdr members or providing therapy for that matter, though you could certainly use some, in order to lighten up a bit.

It was not deleted, it was moved to a "members only" area which requires you to log in. Replies are apparently still being made, as it was recently in the "active threads" list.

No idea why I am paying this close attention... I think I am just getting nervous about all this attention, the "duh-rama," as Karen, our newest blogging spectator calls it, has me on the edge of my seat. I really hope that the intarwebz pick up on the story and un-Holy Moly gets his due.

In a tangentially related note, my father e-mailed me today, I miss the old fart, and I am looking forward to seeing him again soon. Our last visit was really brief, and while I was glad in one sense his best friend came along, both his very tight schedule and his presence made the kind of healing and frank, honest exchange I was looking forward to with my father, impossible. I do believe that we will have that chance this December, and he is looking for the same, he says he thinks we can help each other "heal," and I agree.
