I'm with you there! You'd love the book I'm reading at the moment then. 'BattleStar Galactica and Philosophy' ed. Jason Eberl. A very good read so far...

Yes, I've noticed that a number of people I enjoy hearing from at LiMi seem to have moved to the sidelines. What happened to the love? Very Happy

Don't know about others (and don't know if you would mean me as well), but I have a lot less time to post (I do still read the large majority of posts) and also have a bit of a sense of "we've already discussed most things we'd want to discuss" so the drive to engage in discussion is less for me.

QuestEon - Don't know if you mean me either. I came back after a couple of weeks absence and found some people had been writing non-stop while I was away. I'm still trying to catch up! The discussions on other topics might be less active at the moment but there is still plenty to say about FDR and it's important that we say it.

Hi Patience and welcome back.
Just to help you get up to speed a little it has been pointed out to me ( apologies to all if this has all ready been noted) but the word 'psychology' has been removed from fdr's home page. No idea why, any clues anyone?

Lemme try again. Sorry for the poorly written paraphrase...

So, you're saying that because you're sick of slamming your head against a wall you think its a good idea to just 'bring the wall to you' by hitting yourself with a hammer? Why not take some other action?

Hey, I bought that book too. I'm not done with it though.

It has lots of psychological analysis in it. There are some spelling and grammatical errors, but I never let that get in the way of a good idea.

So far it is a good book IMO.

Where was it???

It was on the home page, in the opening description of the site.
It used to say this:
Topics range from politics to philosophy to psychology to economics to
relationships to atheism - and how to achieve real freedom in your
life today.

Now it says this:
Topics range from politics to philosophy to economics to relationships

Very recently. In the two or three weeks, I think.

More "spring cleaning" perhaps.
