I've beaten him a couple times already quite easily with my usual opening (d4), but I tried something else this time for funsies and it ended up being a grueling match for hours. I made one or two blunders but through position I managed to get back ahead and finally win.

I may want to do something similar to kimochinews and make a vid of the games. Downloading a chess-software now that hopefully allows me to replay a match.

ps The applet plays better or worse depending on how much computer-power you have.

I think you did fairly well up until #28 (but what the hell was #14 about?), then you were on the defense for a bit till you lucked out at #42 after which you sustained your position reasonably well (excellent dodging at #57!), although the computer missed a decent opportunity for a tie at #64. all in all, not bad at all...

I laughed out loud at this! I'm not very into chess, so I was pretty impressed that you could not only follow the game based on a list of numbers and letters representing moves, but could see strategies and mistakes. Nicely done.

I'm not making fun of Nielsio or any chess players or chess itself, I just though your comments were hilarious.

By the way, Nielsio, that was a crazy game of chess! Both players were playing so surprisingly that I couldn't tell which one the computer was.
