I have been gone for some time and I think that merits a reason. Two years ago, in 2008 I was living in VA with a girlfriend. We were engaged and she cheated on me. I left and for a while I floundered around. I attempted suicide, found God, lost god, hitchhiked to Seattle and back, watched my dad marry her mom, got hooked on cocaine, got off, and now I am here again. I must say that these last whiles have been crazy for me, but now I feel good. I am getting a book based on my life published and have a pretty good feeling about what I have for my future. I am starting back at school soon. Anyway, I just thought you guys might like an update as far as what has happened to me.

I did get some pro help, but that was really not helping, talking about why I had done things and why they had happened just made me want to go back to drugs. I don't know if that makes any sense at all you know, but it did in my head, but I have been cleanish for six months now. I mean, I still smoke tobacco and drink alcohol from time to time, but not like 'hard' drugs.

I had written a short story about one of my dirty homeless adventures and sent it to a publisher. They liked it ans said I should write it into a novel. I thought about it and I have written as of now 70 pages worth of journal entrys. Most of which are real but some of which just add flavor to the story. I am trying to finish it by the end of the month so as to get it to the printers as soon as possible.

You should read a book called "Another Bullshit Night in Suck City." Great book, true story, but relevant and perhaps inspirational to your current literary undertaking.

I am going to buy it. What was weird was when I told my publisher what it was going to be about he asked me if I had seen into the wild. I watched it two days before I left, it was a great inspiration.

I know mine is wrong, but thats all right. I was wondering because I want to go either for a long distance bike ride soon or another hitch hiking trip and thought I might stop in to see some of you guys along the way.
